The Melody Queen, the melodious Nightingale, all of these descriptors
fall short of adequately describing this great musical figure. Lata
Didi, who ruled people's hearts all over India and the world, was close
to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She called him "Narendra Bhai."
Long before the 2014 general elections, Lata Didi said, "I pray to God
that we see Narendra Bhai as PM." The death of a celebrity like Lata
Mangeshkar came as a shock to the country. In the words of the poet
Kumar Vishwas, "Swarlok's mother left for Surlok's great journey," The
throat that sings the sounds of varied emotions, fell asleep in the lap
of supreme relaxation. The voice of Mother Saraswati, renouncing her
virtuous body, went to the abode of the Supreme Being. Her voice, on the
other hand, was, is, and will always be loved and cherished." A heartfelt
tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, who was conferred the Bharat Ratna award
