ndian Army, which is one of the
most powerful armies in the world,
Ihas made a strong statement in
the last couple of years. Whether
it is the excursion at Line of Actual
Control (LAC) in Galwan Valley in
Ladakh or enemy’s encroachment on
other borders, or conducting air and
surgical strike at terror launchpads
inside Pakistan, it has been giving
a befitting reply through its valour.
When the entire nation is celebrating
Navy Day on December 4 and Armed
Forces Flag Day on December 7, it is
imperative that one should assess the
future challenges faced by them, their
preparations and the Government’s
commitment towards completing those
targets.
The Army has proved time and
again that it has come out of 1962
mindset and its commitment for peace
must not be taken as its weakness.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on
July 3, 2020 asserted that world is
moving towards development and the
era of expansionism is over. Praising
the valour of the brave soldiers, he
said, “You are the heroes of the same
land that has repulsed the attacks
