empowerment and people-centric policies of the Government as the subject
matter to benefit readers.
Empowerment of Divyangjan on the line of Sustainable Development Goals
(SDG) has figured in the magazine with various Government initiatives in this
regard. Besides this, a reportage on the Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi
Programme – providing affordable medicine to all – has also been produced.

The 2+2 meeting with the US, the Prime Minister’s take on economic recovery
through his various interactions and how Community Radio is helping in
dissemination of information even during COVID-19 crisis in the remotest areas
of the country are also part of this issue.
Tributes have been offered to social reformer, scholar, economist and jurist
Dr B.R. Ambedkar on his 64th death anniversary and to musician M.S.
Subbulakshmi on her 16th death anniversary. Both these great personalities
have been awarded with the highest civilian award of the country Bharat Ratna.

update on Coronavirus are continuing in the magazine. The cover story is about the
growing strength of our Armed Forces with the support of enhanced infrastructure,
augmented firepower, state-of-the-art missile system and sophisticated fighter
aircrafts. The exclusive interview of Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh will surely help
understand India’s defence preparedness for any eventuality.
