APPROVAL FOR THE CONTINUATION OF SWACHH BHARAT
MISSION-URBAN TILL 2025-26: Swachh Bharat Mission
2.0 will have a financial outlay of Rs 1,41,600 crore
which is two and a half times more than the first phase
of the mission. This includes free from open defecation
including sewage sludge management in all cities with a
population of less than 1 lakh. This will prevent the flow
of hazardous substances into sewers and septic tanks,
