Showcasing the strength of a self-reliant India, the
Indian skies at Vijay Chowk lit up with the lights
of 1,000 indigenous drones during the 'Beating
Retreat' ceremony this year. The performance
was celebrated as part of the Amrit Mahotsav
celebrations to commemorate 75 years of
independence. The various symbols of freedom
through drones not only captivated the audience,
but it was a moment to renew India's new flight in
the Amrit Kaal.
It was conceptualized, designed, produced, and
choreographed under the 'Make in India' initiative.
The drone demonstration was organized by
startup 'Botlab Dynamics' in collaboration with the
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the
Department of Science and Technology.
