An indebted nation pays its tribute on
his death anniversary on 21st June
Dr. Hedgewar had said, “Public
sentiment, support, and appeal are
important to fight and overthrow the
imperialist forces.” Under the leadership
of Dr. Hedgewar, who understood the
power of public sentiment, thousands of
people did 'Jungle Satyagraha' at Pusad in the
Yavatmal district of Maharashtra as part of
the civil disobedience movement on 21 July
1930. The Union Culture Ministry is now in
the process to build a museum in the same
place. Amrit Mahotsav Committee headed by
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already
given a nod for it. This museum will showcase
Hedgewar's pivotal role in this Satyagraha.

Doctorji tried many ways to achieve independence for the country.

He would meet with Tilakji, revolutionaries, Subhash, and Arvind in
search of the truth to accomplish this mission.

The initial period of Doctorji's life was filled with the fervent feeling

of making the supreme sacrifice to liberate the country. It was as
if it had become part of his personality to struggle with the British
who enslaved the country.
Progress of the nation became the goal of his life. In the process of

realizing the society, every person in the society became divine in
his mind. Like Swami Vivekananda, only 'Bharat Mata' had become
his Aaradhya Devi.
