75
years of India's independence means
the elixir of the energy of freedom, the
nectar of new ideas, the nectar of new
resolutions, and the nectar of self-reliance to make
India a developed nation. On this 15th of August,
whether it was the customary flag hoisting ceremony
at Red Fort or the enthusiastic participation of citizens
to unfurl the tricolor in every nook and corner of the
country, this wonderful sight was similar to what the
country had seen 75 years ago. The Tricolor waving
with pride in every corner made Amrit Mahotsav
highly successful and this historic day has become
a virtuous step in India's journey, a new path, a new
resolution, and an auspicious occasion to move
forward with new strength.
In these 75 years of independence, India has
overcome every challenge. In this journey of 75
years, in the midst of hopes, expectations, ups, and
downs, the nation has traveled its journey with the
spirit of Sabka Prayas. In the year 2014, when the
people of the country gave Narendra Modi the first
Prime Minister to be born in independent India an
opportunity to serve the nation he showed strong
will, whether it was from the ramparts of the Red
Fort giving a message of transformation or taking
steps to ameliorate the socio-economic scenario
of the country. He spent a long period of his life
empowering the poorest of the poor. Be it Dalit,
exploited, victimized, deprived, tribal, woman, youth,
farmer, handicapped, or bridging the geographical
divide of the east, west, north, south, sea coast, or the
Himalayas he tried to fulfill the dreams of Mahatma
Gandhi- caring for the last person, his aspiration of
making the last person capable- he dedicated myself
to that. It is the result of good governance with the
long-term thinking in the last 8 years combined with
the experience of so many decades of independence
at a time when India is stepping towards its Amrit
Kaal then it is natural to be proud of its capabilities.
The way in which the public mind has connected
with the policies of governance in the last few
years and there has been a renaissance of new
collective consciousness, India is now moving from
a developing to a developed nation. Prime Minister
Narendra Modi presented a roadmap from the Red
Fort to make India a developed nation through the
period of Amrit Kaal.
