mobile phones worth about $8 billion.
Now it is also exporting mobile phones
worth three billion dollars. Taking
forward this scheme with a view to

GOOD NUTRITION -
NOW FORTIFIED RICE
Through the Poshan Abhiyan, the central
government launched a campaign against
malnutrition, and now the mission has been carried
forward through Poshan 2.0. In view of this, it has
been decided that the government will fortify the rice
given to the poor under its various schemes.

citizens under various
schemes.
In order to provide food
security, people were
provided food grains at
affordable rates or free
of cost during the Covid
period so that they get
food and nutritional
security.
n On the occasion of World Food Day in 2020, 17 bio-
cultured varieties of seeds, and the next year 35 bio-
cultured varieties of seeds were dedicated to the
nation.
n The agriculture sector has been linked with research
and technology to strengthen the nutrition campaign
with the introduction of improved varieties of seeds.
Golden Period....
n The government has decided that the rice it gives
to the poor under its different schemes will be
nutritious.
n Fortified rice will be supplied to the entire public
distribution system by 2024 so that the poor get
nutritious rice.
n Whether it is rice available at ration shop, rice
provided to children in mid-day meal, rice available
through each scheme will be made nutritious by
the year 2024.
Mission Poshan 2.0 has been announced
in the general budget, now the central
Mission Poshan 2.0 government will run all the nutrition
campaigns under this mission along with
increasing the nutrients in the coming days.
