The Government of India has made several reforms in the budget process. The date for
presenting the budget in Parliament was changed to February 1. For the last few years after
the budget is presented it is followed by post-budget webinars which are aimed at better
implementation of the budget. Initiated with the purpose of increasing public participation,
these webinars encourage the participation of all concerned stakeholders for the effective,
