AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO UNITY,
DISCIPLINE, DEDICATION, AND DUTY
Committed to develop road networks in North and North-East India, the Border Roads
Organization (BRO) is celebrating its 64th Foundation Day on 7th May. Starting with just
two projects in 1960, the organization is today working on 18 projects in 13 states and 3
union territories. In the last 6 decades, BRO and its personnel have built 61,218 kms of
roads, 915 bridges, 19 airfields, and 4 tunnels in remote border areas of the country.
