INDIA MOVING FORWARD WITH THE
MANTRA "MAKE FOR THE WORLD"
"If a vast country like India remains just a market, it will never be
able to progress or provide opportunities to our young generation.
These words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the basis
of the 'Make in India' campaign. The government's reforms and
policies over the last nine years have created an unprecedented
environment for manufacturing. As a result, 'Make in India,' which
began on September 25, 2014, and is now in its ninth year, has not
only made progress in production and exports but is also moving
quickly on the mantra of 'Make for the World'.
