On 26 July 1999, our brave soldiers with their indomitable courage and determination drove
away the intruders from our border in Kargil. This year the nation is celebrating the 25th
anniversary of India's historic victory. Wars are not fought and won only with weapons
and bombs. The indomitable spirit of valor and courage also plays an equally important
role. It is this willpower and sense of national pride that distinguishes Indian soldiers from
other armies. Our forces are imbued with the spirit of patriotism to protect the country, its
civilization, and culture. Also, they are fully committed to the spirit of national pride…...

Kargil Vijay Diwas brings to the fore the heroic saga of those
wonderful bravehearts of India, who will always remain an
