service for a long time, no rail tracks, and no station.
As soon as tracks are laid and a station is built, the
Itown automatically begins to develop. Similarly, a
village has been without a paved road for years. As
soon as a good road is built, farmers’ produce begins
to reach the market. Infrastructure isn’t limited to
building large bridges and highways; when such fa-
cilities are developed, they foster development in the
entire region. In the last 11 years, many new airports
have been built in the country, along with starting
several Vande Bharat trains, giving new impetus to
development. While flagging off four Vande Bharat
Express trains from Varanasi, Prime Minister Naren-
dra Modi said that all these efforts are linked with
development. Today, India is also moving on this path
of development at a very fast pace. With the launch
of four new Vande Bharat trains, more than 164 new
Vande Bharat trains are now operating in the country.
For centuries, pilgrimages have been considered a
source of consciousness in India. These journeys are
not just a path to the spiritual experience but a sacred
tradition that connects the soul of India. Prayagraj,
Ayodhya, Haridwar, Chitrakoot, Kurukshetra, and
countless such pilgrimage sites are centers of spirit-
uality. Today, as these holy places are being connect-
ed to the Vande Bharat network, it is also fulfilling the
task of connecting India’s culture, faith, and devel-
opment journey. This is an important step towards
making India’s heritage cities symbols of the country’s
development. PM Modi said that these pilgrimages
also have an economic aspect. Over the past 11 years,
development work in Uttar Pradesh has overhauled
