        INFRASTRUCTURE NETWORK IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR



            A network of roads and highways is being laid to make travel easier to the remote hilly
             areas of Jammu and Kashmir. For this, four important corridors worth Rs 50 thousand
                                           crores are being constructed.

        JAMMU-UDHAMPUR-SRINAGAR

             PM Modi said that more than 14 tunnels like
           Sonamarg are being constructed, which will
           make Jammu and Kashmir one of the most
           connected regions of the country. Improved
           connectivity  will  allow  tourists  to  reach
           previously  untouched  and  unexplored  areas
           of Jammu and Kashmir. The tourism sector
           has  benefited  from  the  peace  and  progress
           achieved in the region in the last decade. More
