government, and business...

f India is looking stronger and more confident than ever on
the global stage today, then behind this are those steps in
Ithe form of reforms, which have given birth to a new
revolution of reforms. The trust of the public has been an
important factor in forming the government for the third
consecutive time. While mentioning this in ET Now Global
Business Summit 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi
emphasized the progress of the last decade. He said that
imagine if these reforms had not happened, could so many
changes have been brought about. The Prime Minister said
that the country was running even during the Congress rule,
but the country was witnessing the tardy pace of development
and high corruption. PM Modi said that if that had continued,
the important period of the country would have been
destroyed.
Talking about the direction and condition of the country’s
economy and economic pace, Prime Minister Narendra Modi
also mentioned many important issues and the results of his
journey of a decade. He said that in 2014, the Congress
government was moving with the goal that in 2044, India will
be made the third largest economy in the world from the
11th. 30 years... this was the pace of development then. Now
we can see that in just a decade, India has become the top 5
economy of the world. He said, “I am saying with full
responsibility that now in the next few years you will see
India becoming the third largest economy in the world.”
