A Victory Celebration

The monsoon session of Parliament turned into a Vijayotsav for the
nation, riding high on the successes of Operation Sindoor and the journey
of Shubhanshu Shukla, who hoisted the tricolor for the first time in the
International Space Station. The monsoon session of Parliament, which
began on 21 July, ended on 21 August, underscored the success of these two
achievements. During the Session, 14 Bills were introduced in the Lok Sabha.

12 Bills were passed by the Lok Sabha, 15 bills were passed by the Rajya Sabha,
and a total of 15 bills were passed by both houses of Parliament.

Every year, three sessions (budget, monsoon,
and winter) are held. But this time, the
Pmonsoon session of Parliament, which lasted
for a month, was marked by the pride of the nation,
India’s military prowess, India’s new defense policy,
and India’s self-reliance. The special discussion held
in both houses of Parliament on the success of Op-
eration Sindoor, which became a symbol of India’s
courage, valour, and strength against Pakistan-spon-
sored terrorism, and the safe return of Shubhan-
shu Shukla after hoisting the Indian tricolour at the
International Space Station, manifested a picture of
golden India of the future before the nation.
The Vijayotsav of New India was celebrated in both
houses of the Parliament, and the world witnessed the
military power and capability of India. Under Operation
Sindoor, the Indian Army achieved 100% of its target
and razed the terrorist masters’ house to the ground in
just 22 minutes. In this operation, the world witnessed
India’s self-reliance in defence and a new form of
military power filled with Indianness. PM Modi himself
responded to this special discussion in the Lok Sabha
and said, ‘I have stood up to present India’s side.’ His
words, showcasing determination, have become a
