Measures to Curb Funding




             The government has placed special emphasis on curbing the flow of  funds to Left-Wing Extremist (LWE)
            groups. In particular, continuous action has been taken to uncover the nexus between the Communist Party of
            India (Maoist) and those providing them with financial support. Coordinated and effective measures have been
            undertaken jointly by state police forces and central agencies to prevent LWE groups from accessing funds and
           other resources. Measures taken by the government to dismantle the financial networks of  LWE groups include:
