Support Price (MSP) to ensure farmers receive one and a half times the cost of production, or
doubling farmers’ income, or the initiative to empower farmers financially through the PM
Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, introduced in the Union Budget on February 1, 2019 – this is not
just a promise, but a firm commitment of the central government. Today, from seed to market,
the welfare of the country’s food-producing farmers has become the government’s top priority,
because farmers play a crucial role in building a developed India. Therefore, to strengthen
farmers, attention is being paid to all stages – before, during, and after sowing – through
