by 86 percent—a figure that exceeds the global average of 48
percent.

n A 78 percent decline has been recorded in the mortality rate
among children under five years of age—surpassing the
global average of 61 percent.
n The Neonatal Mortality Rate has declined by 70 percent,
whereas the global decline stands at 54 percent.
n The Infant Mortality Rate has recorded a decline of over 37
percent in the last decade, dropping from 40 deaths per 1,000
live births in 2013 to 25 in 2023.
