How should we prepare for the India of tomorrow? India must be ready to face these
challenges. The words and ideas mentioned above belong to the former President
of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam – a man who championed the ‘India First’ principle and
prioritised the national interest in the fields of science, defence, and technological
innovation. The country is currently working extensively on these very ideas. Guided
by the vision he outlined for the future of India in his book “India 2020: A Vision for the
New Millennium”, the nation is now advancing on the path to becoming a developed
country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A heartfelt tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on
his birth anniversary. He is remembered as a
visionary who inspired the nation to dream big. His
life reminds us that humility and tireless hard work are
essential for success. Let us continue to build the India

he envisioned—an India that is strong, self-reliant, and
compassionate. - Narendra Modi, Prime Minister
