COVER STORY
Sapta Dhara
First strength
Manufacturing Power: we will have to meet global
standards in terms of cost, quality and scale; our mantra
should be quality, quality, quality. Our zero-defect precision
manufacturing should become our hallmark.
Second strength
Agriculture and Food Production: from farm to export
market, our millets, spices, fruits and flowers should become
global brands.
Third strength
Technology and Innovation: we must become a hub
of innovation, Bharat must lead in next-generation
communication technologies, and Made-in-India 6G should
reach every corner.
Fourth strength
Gati Shakti: we must focus on seamless and fast connectivity
within the country — high-speed rail, modern highways,
inland waterways, airports, and port-led development growth.
Fifth strength
Raksha Shakti (Defence Power): Bharat has now
experienced, and the world has experienced, that there is no
alternative to being self-reliant in defence; for this we must
take leadership in next-generation defence technology, drones
and counter-drones, and hypersonic defence.
Sixth strength
Green Economy and Blue Economy: green hydrogen,
renewable energy, fisheries, coastal tourism. We must achieve
green hydrogen, renewable energy, energy storage, green
mobility and green manufacturing at a global scale. There are
also tremendous opportunities in the blue economy, given our
very long coastline.
Seventh strength
Bharat’s Soft Power: Yoga, Ayurveda, Heal in India, films,
animation, gaming, the WAVES Summit. The strength of
Bharat’s soft power is immense; today, yoga has connected the
entire world with Bharat.
