present with an eye on the future. The decision taken
6 years ago for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh re-
flects the values of the current central government,
which professes not only emphatic promises but also
possesses the courage and ability to fulfill them. On 5
August 2019, the nation took an unprecedented step
by resolving the problems that had been in the eye
of the storm for decades and which were considered
impossible to solve.
Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are not only
India’s territorial landmass but also the pride of India,
rightly compared to the head of India. The dream
of One Nation, One Constitution, One Symbol has
become a reality, and after the abrogation of Article
370, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are moving to
achieve Sankalp Ki Siddhi. This 5th August marks the
completion of six years of an important milestone in
the history of the country, when the Indian Parliament
decided to abrogate Article 370 alongwith provisions
of 35 (A). It marks the advent of a new era of progress
