Building a prosperous nation through public welfare and public campaigns
is the key strategy that reflects the transformation in the thinking and
policy of the new India. The concept of ‘Ek-Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’ and
the development of the people of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are the
driving forces behind the government’s maneuvering to bring these regions
to the mainstream of development. Six years ago, on 5 August 2019, the
central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had corrected
a historically egregious mistake by abrogating Article 370, embarking on
the path of transformational reform, due to which Jammu-Kashmir and
Ladakh are setting new standards of development. Earlier the governance
in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh was concentrated in the hands of a few but
now people-centric governance is getting strengthened...
