India has used science, research and technology as primary

weapons in its fight against Coronavirus. This battle has finally
reached a decisive stage with the development of the vaccines.

The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) gave its approval to the
vaccines of Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech. India has

also kick started the world’s largest immunisation exercise from
January 16. All this has paved the way for a COVID-19-free India. Also,

the indigenous vaccines developed in just 10 months shows India’s
dedication for being self-reliant
