In a bid to further boost the
economy, Budget lays down plans for
expanding infrastructure and provide
impetus to public transport along
with highways, railway and metro
fter slowing down during the Corona
period, the economy is on a ‘V’ shape
Arecovery path. To give it a further boost,
the focus is on infrastructure development. New
economic corridors will be created to increase
employment by easing rules for direct investment in
infrastructure. A Development Financial Institution Rural India
(DFI) will be set up for Rs 20,000 Crore. Aim is to
create a lending portfolio of Rs 5 Lakh Crore under `40 T o a C o e Peo e
