        NEW FARM LAWS PROVIDING BIGGER



        MARKET, BETTER PRICES TO FARMERS






        Empowerment of farmers has been
        the priority of the Government. The
        new farm laws passed by Parliament in

        September 2020 show the commitment
        of the Government towards doubling
        income of farmers by 2022

        Parliament passed three new laws in September
        -- The Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce
        (Promotion and Facilitation) Act;  The Farmers
        (Empowerment  and  Protection) Agreement  of
        Price Assurance and Farm Services Act; and The
        Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act.
