LOCAL PRODUCTS BECOMING POPULAR



              On Women's Day, shawls made by artisans from Tamil Nadu's Toda tribe, traditional shawls of Nagaland,
           painted stoles of Madhubani and West Bengal jute file folders made by the tribals went out of stock in a while. It
           is this new belief of Indians towards indigenous products that the sale of local products in 2020 in comparison
           to the year 2019, during Diwali, has broken all the records. During this period, the sales of food and textile items
                  increased by 10 times, while the sales of agricultural products increased by 700 to 900 percent.
