This is a rosy picture of social change in the

75th year of India's independence. It is not only a
sign of women's empowerment; it is also a sign of

development thinking led by women's power. Her
life is the inspiration to fight the struggle. Droupadi

Murmu's life is a reflection of the new India. She
is the first tribal president, the first woman tribal

president, and the first president to come from a
remote tribal area of Odisha. President Murmu, who

arrived at Raisina Hill from a remote forest, has also
become a symbol of the new India, which the people
