The Government of India has been continuously working towards improvings the condition
of the village-poor-farmer. The government is making efforts in this direction to provide
every necessary facility to the farmers. Crores of farmers of the country are getting its
benefits today. Recently, Union Cabinet has approved subsidies for Phosphatic and Potassic
fertilizers for Rabi season. Also, the price of ethanol has been increased. These decisions will
benefit crores of farmers of the country.

Decision - The Union Cabinet approved nutrient support for indigenous fertilizer (SSP) through
based subsidy rates for phosphate and potash freight subsidy. Under it, the fertilizers will get
