                                                       HERITAGE




                                                                  In the Amrit Kaal of independence, the
                                                                  country is rapidly progressing toward
                                                                  the goal of a developed India. This
                                                                  developmental journey is multifaceted.
                                                                  It also includes concern for the needs
                                                                  of the common man, as well as a desire
                                                                  to beautify the heritage through modern
                                                                  infrastructure and inclusive development.
                                                                  This vision of development through
                                                                  heritage was reflected in Prime Minister
                                                                  Narendra Modi's tour of four South
                                                                  Indian states on November 11 and 12,
                                                                  which he began in Bengaluru by paying
                                                                  obeisance to Maharishi Valmiki, Sri
                                                                  Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, and saint
                                                                  poet Sri Kanaka Das. Karnataka, Andhra
                                                                  Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana
                                                                  have also received development projects
                                                                  worth approximately Rs 25000 crore,
                                                                  which include the first Vande Bharat train
                                                                  in South India, a new airport terminal, a
                                                                  6-lane greenfield economic corridor, a
                                                                  fertiliser plant, and other projects.

                                                                   From  prehistoric  times  to  the  present,  the
                                                                   South has had a significant historical, political,
                                                                   and  cultural  impact  on  the  entire  country.
                                                                   Prime  Minister  Narendra  Modi,  who  visited
                                                                   Karnataka,  Tamil  Nadu,  Andhra  Pradesh,
                                                                   and  Telangana  on  November  11  and  12,
                                                                   emphasised the importance of these states to
