PADMA AWARDS TO 128 PEOPLE FOR THE YEAR 2022

The Union Home Ministry announced the Padma awards on the eve of the country's 73rd Republic
Day. The awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished
service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of a high order), and Padma Shri (distinguished
service). The list includes 4 Padma Vibhushan, 17 Padma Bhushan, and 107 Padma Shri awards.
