The life of mothers, sisters, and daughters influences generations and also create
generations. The potential of a daughter, her education, and her skills determine the
direction of the society and the nation and not only of the family. The central government
has taken continuous efforts in this direction. While transferring Rs 1000 crore to the
accounts of women self-help groups in Prayagraj on December 21, Prime Minister
Narendra Modi said, “We made plans and campaigns to empower women at every stage

in the cycle of life starting from the birth of a daughter."

Maternity leave has been extended to six
months so that the mothers can continue their
work without worrying about the initial care
of their child after delivery. Maternal health
