SECTOR TO EMERGE A BIG WINNER
Space and the water are the two
sectors that will have the largest
impact on humanity's future and
huge advancement. India must
seize these attractive opportunities
as soon as possible. The space
sector has been opened to private
enterprises in accordance with Prime
Minister Narendra Modi's vision. The
IN-SPACe Headquarters in Bopal,
Ahmedabad, was opened on June
10 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
to give the private sector access to
ISRO's facilities and technologies.
During his visit to Gujarat, the Prime
Minister launched and started many
development projects totaling Rs
3050 crore, including the AM Naik
Healthcare Complex in Navsari and
the Nirali Multi Hospital.

here are infinite possibilities within India, but
infinite possibilities can never be realized by
Tlimited efforts. The same applies to the space
sector, which is going to be the biggest pillar of the
development revolution in the 21st century. A new
beginning has been made to exploit these limitless
possibilities present in India's space sector. The
launch of the Indian National Space Promotion and
Authorization (IN-SPACe) at Bopal, Ahmedabad is
an important step in this direction. Inaugurating it
on June 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said,
“Today, a wonderful chapter has been added in the
development journey of modern India of the 21st
century. We are soon going to come out with a
policy to improve the ease of doing business in the
space sector.”
This project was approved by the Union Cabinet
in June 2020. It is an independent nodal agency
of the Department of Space, Government of India.
Now addressing its inaugural event in Bopal,
Prime Minister Modi said, “For a very long time the
private sector has been seen as just a vendor in
the space industry. But now the private sector will
no longer be just a vendor but will play the role of
a big player in the space sector. When the strength
