        In the last 8 years, the central government has taken several steps to
        improve medical education. The fees for 50 percent seats in private    Medical Colleges and AIIMS
        medical colleges have been made at par with that of government medical
        colleges. In order to improve medical education, the Medical Council of   387 596

        in its place. Also, provisions were made for 27 percent reservation for   Medical    Medical
