Aajeevika Mission-Nation's Mission Cover Story
The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission
(DAY-NRLM), which is an initiative aimed at reducing poverty in rural
areas by creating opportunities, has grown into a crucial tool for
the livelihood and income of millions of rural families. It has given
women's power a new identity and direction. The mission to make
India self-reliant is being driven by women who have been trained,
inspired, and monitored in small groups as they forge ahead on
the new path of self-reliance. Their work has now evolved into the
mission of helping the nation.
