Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Nation

The Government is leaving no stone unturned to bring in all-round development be it infrastructure
development or the initiative to give a new and modern look to the cultural pride of the country. While
projects stalled for several years are getting a new lease of life, diligent efforts are being taken to
restore the grandeur of the cultural sites. This could be best fathomed out from two examples from
Uttar Pradesh which exhibit the new vigor in time-bound delivery of projects. The first one is the
Saryu Nahar National Project, the foundation of which was laid in 1978, but the actual work started in
2017. The Second one is- Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, whose foundation was laid by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on 8 March 2019, and this project was completed in just 33 months and 4 days.
While the Saryu Nahar National Project was inaugurated on December 11 by Prime Minister Narendra
Modi whereas he dedicated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor to the nation on December 13 and gave a
message that now the projects are no longer stuck or do not hang in limbo.

The Prime Minister extolled the spirituality
of Kashi and reiterated his resolve for the
development journey in the Amrit Mahotsav

enters Kashi, one becomes free from all bondage.
