                                  HEALTH AND MEDICAL RESEARCH
India on the road to health prosperity

The COVID disaster has highlighted the importance of health infrastructure. This disaster
demonstrated and taught that even developed systems in prosperous countries can fail
in such a large disaster. In such a situation, improving healthcare facilities for disease
prevention is just as important as focusing on disease treatment. The central government
is now working to build such a health infrastructure with a holistic approach and the
mantra "One Earth, One Health" so that citizens can be protected from not only such
epidemics but also other diseases in the future.
