WOMEN'S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Women's leadership is steering
development in a new direction
Women are not only participating more in the health sector, sports, business, and
politics in India, but they are also leading in every field. Over the last nine years, the
country has moved towards a vision of women's empowerment and development led
by women. Now, India, which is hosting the G-20, has put it on the global agenda. This
year's general budget is also going to give a new impetus to development under the
leadership of women. Women's power is reflected in their determination, willpower,
imagination power, and decision power—their ability to make quick decisions, austerity
to achieve set goals, and the culmination of their hard work.
