Indian films boom at the Oscars,

PM Modi congratulates

The Oscars 2023 have created a joyous atmosphere throughout the country. At the
95th Academy Awards, the famous song 'Naatu Naatu' from the Telugu film 'RRR' won the
Oscar for Best Original Song. The Indian short film 'The Elephant Whispers' also made
history by winning the Oscar for 'Best Short Documentary'. Many world leaders, including
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulated the artists on their success. Prime Minister
Narendra Modi responded to the academy's tweet with the words "Exceptional! The
popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global. It will be a song that will be remembered for years
to come. Congratulations to MM Keeravaani, Chandrabose and the entire team for this
prestigious honour. India is elated and proud." And for the team of 'The Elephant Whispers',
PM Modi wrote, Congratulations to Earth Spectrum, Guneet Monga and the entire team of
‘The Elephant Whisperers’ for this honour. Their work wonderfully highlights the importance
of sustainable development and living in harmony with nature. This achievement was
congratulated in both the Houses of the Parliament. Home Minister Amit Shah, and
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur also congratulated.
