anywhere on the iGOT platform
One of the 6 pillars of Mission Karmayogi, the
iGOT Karmayogi India online platform portal
has been started under the digital learning
framework. There are many online courses on
this portal, urging to take maximum advantage
of them, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had
said in a program in Gujarat recently, “I firmly
believe that continuous study can become
a great weapon of your progress." The direct
benefit of this platform was seen in the Covid
period when an online platform was created
and in just 6 months more than 13 lakh Covid
warriors were trained through the platform.
In the recent past, the government has
given a lot of emphasis on role-based
approaches. Its results are also visible-
A new ecosystem has emerged
for building capacity and
competence in civil services.
There has been a
democratization of
the way of learning.
According to officers' capability
and expectations, their
responsibility is also decided

with old thinking and rules of the last 20-25-30 years or last century.

Aarambh'
'Aarambh Foundation Course is a future-
oriented course that has immense
potential to bring about a paradigm shift in
administration. This course is nation-centric
and future-centric. It is paving the way for
such a sweeping change in administration
that people will stop working in isolation. On
the contrary, people will work together and in
a comprehensive manner.
With a vision to enable executives to lead
change and work seamlessly, 'Aarambh',
an integrated foundation course, was
launched in 2019 as part of the 94th
Foundation Course. Aarambh is an effort
to bring together trainees from all the All
India Services, Group-A Central Services,
and Foreign Services through a Common
Foundation Course (CFC). ts purpose is to
eliminate the traditionally divided thinking at
the departmental and services level so that
civil officers can start their careers with new
thinking. Not only this, the objective of this
course is to develop within civil officers the
ability to work together without any hindrance
with different departments and sectors.
