              JAPANESE PM DISCUSSES G-7 PRIORITIES


           WITH PM MODI, INVITES TO THE G-7 SUMMIT



                This year is significant for both India and Japan. The G-20 is led by India, while the
              G-7 is led by Japan. Both countries want the G-20 and G-7 to do something special for
              global governance, to give it a new direction so that they can collaborate on priorities.
                Increasing cooperation between the two nations will contribute to the Indo-Pacific
                region's continued peace. A formal invitation to the G-7 summit in Hiroshima was
              extended to PM Narendra Modi by Japan's PM Fumio Kishida during his two-day visit
