In the last 8 years, the number of daughters in the
police and paramilitary forces has almost doubled. The
way has been opened for the deployment of women
at the front line in all three wings of the army. Today
women have joined the Indian Navy for the first time
as Agniveers, as sailors. Women have started to enter
combat roles in the armed forces. Training of the first
batch of women cadets has started at NDA Pune. The
Central Government has also given permission for
admission of girls in Sainik Schools. About 1500 girl
students have been admitted to Sainik Schools. Today
there is a facility of self-certification for the youth, while
earlier the certificate had to be attested by a gazetted
officer. Interviews have been abolished for recruitment
to the posts of Group-C, D. In this age of technology,
youth are becoming new digital entrepreneurs in every
village. Employment and self-employment opportunities
are continuously increasing in the country due to the
schemes of the Central Government. Apart from this,
the central government is also organizing job fairs to
provide 10 lakh permanent government jobs to the
youth. When such a mammoth youth power will be
engaged in nation building, development of the country,
then no goal will remain impossible.
Youth energy is, in fact, the most important source
