the service sector, especially in urban areas. While
the upper middle class is generally identified as
having financial assets, bank deposits, and real
estate holdings. Doctors, lawyers, professionals,
chartered accountants, etc. fall into this category.
The middle class is identified with stable but low-
paying jobs. They have fewer savings and more
dependence on salary. This class has traditionally
seen education as a way to maintain influence or
move into the upper middle class.
The Central Government has been serious about
Minimum Government, Maximum Governance
since the beginning, which has made the common
citizen understand that now there is such a
government at the Center which trusts its citizens.
The central government made self-attestation a
common standard. But compare this with the time
when people had to run from one office to another
to get each form attested for documentation. Self-
attestation has made almost all the processes
quite easy. Be it registering for a scheme, applying
for an entrance exam, or submitting an application
for a loan.
Most of the government work and processes
are now online. DigiLocker lets you store personal
documents on multiple interfaces, and file IT returns
which is simple and quick while maintaining secure,
digital storage. These are just some of the examples
that have made life simpler. All these steps may
seem simple and logical, but it took seven decades
to implement them and a far-sighted leader.
This shows how the government led by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi is committed to removing
bottlenecks and providing impetus to development
from the very beginning to all sections of society
including the middle class.
Overall, the central government has continuously
tried to provide relief in every field related to the
needs of the middle class and has tried to save as
much money as possible in the pocket of middle-
class families. Certainly, the Government of India
under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi is actively taking care of the concerns of the
middle class.
