Everyone has contributed to making the "Mann Ki Baat" programme a wonderful
platform for public participation. Every month, the "Mann Ki Baat" of so many people
reaches Prime Minister Narendra Modi through lakhs of messages. Just as the power
of the mind is immense, the power of the country grows in tandem with the power of
society, as seen and understood in various episodes of "Mann Ki Baat." Prime Minister
Narendra Modi also accepted it. In his speech, PM Modi addressed several issues,
including the strength of India's UPI. Here are some excerpts from Mann Ki Baat...

THE CRAZE OF INDIAN TOYS: When Indian toys were discussed in "Mann Ki Baat," the people

of the country wholeheartedly supported them. Indian toys have become so popular that their
demand is increasing even in foreign countries. When we discussed Indian storytelling styles in
"Mann Ki Baat," their fame spread far and wide. People became increasingly interested in Indian
story-telling genres.
POWER OF INDIA'S UPI: You are also aware of the power of India's UPI. Many countries around

the world are drawn to it. The UPI-Pay Now link between India and Singapore was launched
a few days ago. The e-Sanjeevani app is a living example of how Indians have integrated
technology into their daily lives. We have seen how tele-consultation has been a great boon to
the people during the Corona period.

USTAD BISMILLAH KHAN YUVA PURASKAR: A few days ago, the "Ustad Bismillah Khan

Youth Award" was given. It is given to talented artists in the field of music and performing arts.
Along with increasing the popularity of the art and music worlds, they are contributing to their
prosperity.
BIG CONTRIBUTION TO A CLEAN INDIA: If we are determined, then we can make a big

contribution to a clean India. At least we all should take a pledge to replace plastic bags with
cloth bags. You will see how much satisfaction this resolution of yours will give you and how it
will inspire others.
CLEANLINESS AS WELL AS A SOURCE OF INCOME: Kamla Moharana, a sister from

Kendrapara district in Odisha, runs a self-help group. The women of this group make many
things, like baskets and mobile stands, from milk bags and other plastic packaging. Along with
cleanliness, it is also becoming a source of income.

n ORGANIZATION OF KUMBH MELA: Tribeni in West Bengal has been revered as a holy site for
centuries. Last year, a Kumbh Mela was held here to restore Tribeni's heritage and to revive the
glory of the Kumbh tradition.
