The present central government is not only
working to accelerate the pace of development
in every sector of the country but keeping in view
the needs of the future, it is also increasing the
investment in infrastructure at a rapid pace. Be
it the means of transport or the basic needs of
health, investment is being promoted in every
sector. With this aim, on April 8, Prime Minister
Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated
development projects worth more than Rs 15,000
crore in Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

Pworth over Rs 11,300 crore in Telangana and
Rs 3700 crore in Tamil Nadu. These projects will not
only benefit both states but also make life easier
for those coming from other parts of the country.
In the program held in Hyderabad, Prime Minister
Modi said that almost as much time has passed
since Telangana became a separate state as the
present government at the Centre. The central
government is ensuring that Telangana gets the
maximum benefit of India's development model in
the last nine years. PM Modi said construction of
a multi-modal logistics park is also underway near
Chennai, while the entire East Coast Road from
Mamallapuram to Kanyakumari is being improved
under the Bharatmala project. This will benefit the
people of Chennai, Madurai, and Coimbatore and
the people coming to these places.

DEVELOPMENT IN TELANGANA GETS IMPETUS
Laid the foundation stone for National
Highway projects worth over Rs 7,850 crore.
This will strengthen the road connectivity
of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and
help in the socio-economic development
of the region.
Laid the foundation stone of the All India
Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to be
built at Bibinagar, Hyderabad at a cost of Rs
1,350 crore.
Redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway
Station at a cost of Rs 720 crore. The
redeveloped station will have a roof plaza
with two levels of space with all passenger
amenities in one place.
Launch of 13 new multi-modal transport
services in the suburban section of the
Hyderabad-Secunderabad city area.
Dedicated to the nation the project of doubling
and electrification of the Secunderabad–
Mahabubnagar project.
Spread over a distance of more than 85
kilometers, the cost of this project has come
to about Rs 1410 crore.
