CONTRIBUTING SILENTLY

Unsung heroes who have excelled in the fields of education, literature, art,

science, spirituality, medicine, and public service in their own spirits are being
honoured by the country. On April 5, the Second Civil Investiture Ceremony
was held at the President's Darbar Bhawan to honour such heroes who
received the Padma Award in 2023. President Droupadi Murmu presented
Padma Samman awards to three Padma Vibhushan recipients, five Padma

Bhushan recipients, and 47 Padma Shri recipients at the function. The Vice
President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and other dignitaries were
present on the occasion.
