                 BORN: MAY 20, 1918 | DIED: JULY 18, 1948





             Piru Singh recipient of  Param Vir Chakra (posthumously)  sacrificed his life for the
            sake of his country. He sacrificed his life for the sake of his country. During the 1948
             war, he displayed extraordinary bravery and valour in destroying Pakistani bunkers,
            and his heroic actions significantly contributed to India's victory. Piru Singh's sacrifice
                for the country is remembered with great respect and admiration, even after 75
