Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will continue, food will be available from any fair-price shop
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been extended for 5
years. Keeping in mind the access, affordability, and availability of
food grains for the poor, the Central Government has approved the
continuation of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for five
years from January 1, 2024, for the eligible families under the National
Food Security Act. In this, 81.35 crore beneficiaries will continue to get
free ration. Earlier, the government spent more than Rs 3.91 lakh crore
on this scheme started at the time of COVID-19. Under this scheme,
under One Nation, One Ration Card, the beneficiary can take grains
from any fair-price shop across the country under portability.
One-Stop Labor Service Solution on Labor n The E-Shram Portal will be integrated with many
Reforms and Facilities Portal other portals to provide one-stop labor service
solution. This will include a system that will connect
job seekers with potential employers and skill
providers.

revamped to make compliance easier for industry
