Rajgir has immense religious significance for Hindus,
Buddhists and Jains. The Jain temple complex houses an
ancient temple of the 20th Tirthankara Munisuvrata. The
Saptarishi or seven hot springs form a sacred hot water
Brahmakund. A holistic development initiative will be
launched for Rajgir.

Vishnupad Temple at Gaya and Mahabodhi Temple at
Bodh Gaya in Bihar have great spiritual significance. To
develop them as world-class pilgrimage sites and tourist
destinations, assistance will be provided for the overall
development of the Vishnupad Temple Corridor and the
Mahabodhi Temple Corridor modeled on the successful
Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor.

Odisha's scenic beauty, temples, monuments, crafts,
wildlife sanctuaries, natural landscapes, and pristine
beaches make it an excellent tourist destination. The
central government will provide support for their
development.

The central government will assist in reviving
Nalanda University to its glorious stature, besides
developing Nalanda as a tourist hub.
