ndia's first Jan Aushadhi Kendra has opened in Mauritius. External
IAffairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar inaugurated this center along with
Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth on 17 July. The
External Affairs Minister said, " The India-Mauritius health partnership
project will supply cost-effective, Made-in-India medicines to augment
public healthcare and enhance well-being".
This Jan Aushadhi Center fulfills the promise made by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi earlier this year. Generic medicines are available at
